Get to know how both projects are developing different solutions to Europe’s growing water scarcity problem by the reuse of wastewater. In the special case of the ULTIMATE case study in the Netherlands, our partners from KWR Water Research Institute are using electrodialysis to recover high-quality water from the wastewater of 60 greenhouses in an energy-efficient way. This process also allows the recovery of nutrients for use as fertiliser.
